You know I have been involved in music somehow my entire life, and only few times have been utterly confused by what I hear. This is one of those times. Lol I have know idea what's going on, yet I am here for it nonetheless.

Billy Strings - John Deere tractor
Been following Matteo for a few years and never seen you do a reaction to him. There may be quite a lot of your viewers that haven't encountered him - I think they will be impressed. Never seen a player quite like him! It would be good to see what you think.
Shotgun is an unreleased DMB track, rarely played live. It's about Dave's sister who was murdered many years ago. Never doesn't blow my mind. It's DMB season.
One of my top three favorite guitarists. I find his fingerpicking style mesmerizing. Iβd love to hear your thoughts! Love ya Michael!
Great crowd, amazing energy, wonderful build of tension leading in to the explosion of that riff!
They've played this song from 1986 many different ways, with many different guitar solos near the end, however, this doesn't sound quite like a standard guitar solos, as I feel it's got some creativity and flavor to it. Would love your take on the tune.
I had never heard of these guys, but I saw them on TikTok and this song in particular is fantastic, the lyrics, the picking and especially the fiddle all are awesome
It's too soon to do another DMB react, but you should most definitely do a video on the warehouse sessions between Dave and Carter. It's difficult to create an atmosphere with just the guitar, voice and drums, but they manage it effortlessly, and the chemistry is palpable. It's a long video but check it out at 17:38. Don't even know what song it is.
βHelp On The Way/Slipknot!β stands out to me among the Grateful Dead repertoire as it really showcases Jerryβs virtuosic style. There are some really unique riffs in here (which Mayer said challenged him the most out of anything he had to learn for Dead & Co).
Kingfish. Absolute control...
My favorite performance by Van Halen, the whole band is firing on all cylinders, in the prime of their career, but Eddie is especially incredible.
This song always motivates me, and the guitar on it is aggressive, cool, crunchy, technical, and fun all in one song, a combination nobody really pulls off in the way Eddie did, to me. Way better than Eruption, Jump or any of the other great songs EVH played IMO.
I watch this and imagine what it must have felt like for Eddie the first time he went on stage to perform this in front of a huge crowd, knowing the audience expected great things from him as a guitarist already and he was going to blow them away with some knew style even better than what they'd heard from him before.
Bluegrass tele & fiddle shredding, what more do you need? Steve Morse's picking technique is absolutely insane though.
Thanks for the killer content, Michael.
You got do Kings X. 13 studio albums later, the world is still sleeping on these guys. One of the tastiest bands I've ever heard.
Allegedly they are said to have been a major influence on Pear Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, The Smashing Pumpkins, Pantera and others.
This one obviously starts off shaky, but in typical Kings X fashion, by the end of the track their groove has you all in. One of my favorite tracks by them.
Appreciate your videos/lessons. Keep killin it
Just saw Kingfish at the 8x10 the other night and was blown away by him. I was digging around youtube for more of his stuff and this one popped up. Derek, Kingfish and Susan trading solos?!? Yes Please!
I've been obsessed with this band lately and wanted your take.
Please react to this Michael! Would love to hear you break this down.
Great tune about a spooky guitar and possibly also the devil. Keep up the good work. Adam Evans.
TTNG is probably my favorite math rock band right now, and I would love to hear what sticks out to you from their sound.
Most know Ryan from his role on Yellowstone, but not everyone knows how good of a musician he was first, this is his best
eddie 9v is a small blues artist. iβve seen him live locally in atlanta twice now and itβs one of the best shows ever. listen to βlittle black fliesβ β3am in chicagoβ or any of his tracks
Incredible!
Hey, how about listening to Jonny and Thom from Radiohead playing a song by a camp fire in the backyard of director Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood, etc). Give it a go mate
This is short, but there is SO much going on here.
Would love to see Michael Dig into this.
