Hi Michael - I've just seen this wonderful performance on the Jools Holland show. I've not seen Rodrigo y Gabriela before, but I will certainly be looking out for more of their music. They obviously have a great rapport - the body language is brilliant. He is a man who obviously knows his triads inside out - and her flamenco influenced rhythm style is hypnotic to watch. I love these guys. It would be great to hear your insight on their styles and techniques.

This is just pure fire. Phenomenal band. Dig it!

Jeff Beck has always been a favorite and I more recently started listening to John Mclaughlin (his stuff just didn't appeal to me in my youth). Some of the runs he's playing here are so outside. How would you apprthis, to try and direct what he's doing?

The song itself is pretty simple but he mixes country with heavy guitars and its awesome.

I just love this sound. The baritone is such an under rated guitar. I recently acquired one after finding this. Would love to see a breakdown so I can start to understand what's going on and help me learn it better.

Michael, hope all is well, psyched for the hybrid picking course! What we have here is just a babyface Isbell in a funky little record shop. Killer tune, guy just can't help but write good songs. Willi is a voice that demands to be heard. His picking is incredible and his story telling is unmatched. He shows his emotion like no other and that makes his performances that much better
