Great cover Tin Pan Alley from a great Canadian bluesman who has always been underrated.

Can't wait to see a react video for this.

Cheers!!

Amazing when Tim start repeating one note and the audience catches on to it and getting louder and louder. Gives me the chills, in a good way.

Hey Michael! I know you’re always looking for up and coming artists so here is my recommendation, though admittedly biased as drummer is my first cousin. β€œOn My Way” @2:45 is a solid choice for the community but there are no wrong choices. HIT THE BUTTON

Just click the button, Michael.

What a great jam. I have been trying to figure out the guitar for this song but am missing a few things. Would love to see what you can figure out!

Incredible performance of an incredible song, and a superb mix to boot! Taylor Goldsmith is one of the best songwriters out there today. This song is from their 2015 album, All Your Favorite Bands. Hope we can see more of Dawes on the channel.

Willi is a folk singer that demands to be heard. His songwriting is top tier and his guitar is outstanding (though this isn't his best song for the guitar, but the lyrics make up for it) His storytelling is elite and he sounds even better live. He is must listen with every new release. TIME STAMP 33:30

Super impressive song and lyrics from someone so young. I love how a simple chord progression can sound so awesome with a unique strumming pattern and hammer on and pull-offs. I recently started playing after my 31st birthday and it is fun to cover songs like this that sound great played simple, but that I can continue to come back to and improve as I learn.

A classic Gamma song from the late 70's. Gets going about 1:58 in. Neil Schon is ridiculously under appreciated.

Please forgive me for there not being guitar in this thing of beauty, but it’s an opportunity to teach us how you improvise together.

Sure hope people love it as much as I do.

One of my favorite souther rock groups currently. Banger tune, I love driving to this song.

Hey Michael, I love your reactions and breakdowns of all the videos you do, but I especially love watching your Goose videos. Seekers on the Ridge is probably my favourite. The story telling and musicianship in this song is absolutely incredible. Oh, and those one piece snowsuits are badass as well.

This is the title track from their 1995 album. I put it on recently and realized it's easy to forget just how great this album is, in part because it was followed up by OK Computer, Kid A, etc. I'm not savvy enough to know what you should pick out, but I do know it still sounds current over 25 years later and I would love to hear your thoughts about it.

As for the lyrics, The Bends is a pretty obvious metaphor, but otherwise I don't think the song is too profound.

All three of these are amazing (I hear Dire Straits Why Worry in the second song), but the first song, a spanish song is absolutely mind-blowing. I didn’t know Chet could melt faces. Your choice, first song or all three, but the first is a MUST listen. Love to hear your thoughts

Absolutely love this song from Eric.

While considerably shorter than Bowies from 94 and 95, this one is comparatively succinct.
Don't sleep on this one though, the focus from all four members of the band is visible.
The first 4-ish minutes feature a baroque style composition that alternates between melody and harmony with contrasting interludes and is mostly instrumental (other than the requisite David Bowie and UB40 shouts). With a fade in intro and a crescendo that falls off into silky improv jam centered around an Em->D chord progression.

Like most David bowie jams sections, it starts slow and builds to an tense peak with dissonant tension that releases to consonance and grows in intensity until the outro that feels like the finale of fireworks show.

Also sorry Mr. Tonic, sticking with a Bowie over a Gin :)

Michael, love the channel so much, it's really deepened my love for this instrument. On top of that you have show me some of the most amazing songs I've ever heard. Thank you. Now if i can return the favor, you should check out my man, Matt Andersen. From the east coast of Canada, and will eventually become a Canadian songwriting legend. His voice is incredible. This song is beautiful. Enjoy!

How about this gem from the Hammer of the Gods?
