The musician ship and ending to this song is fantastic. Love the banter before the song starts.

Some of the coolest blues playing I've ever seen.

I saw someone post this on one of your videos. It's incredible. The arrangement, recording, and performance are all top notch. Give it a listen and enjoy!

This live version of the Allman Brothers classic is played by the most recent iteration of ABB with Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks on guitar and Oteil Burbridge on bass. I’d love to hear what you think about it.

I’ve been playing guitar for a long time, but thanks to your lessons and these REACTS videos, I’m finally improving again for the first time in a long time. Keep up the incredible work.

I was a late comer to Metallica and had no idea this was a bass guitar when I first heard it. This will always be one of my favorites along with Orion.

So many things going on here that are all pretty cool! Brad's chicken picking is awesome. Would love a reaction on this one!

Little Tybee is an example of really technically impressive music not taking a backseat to coherent song structure. The guitarist is incredible (the rest of the band aren't what I'd call slouches either) and yet the technical complications don't compromise the ability to deliver a beautiful and fairly simple sounding song. I really recommend giving these guys a listen because they don't get the love they deserve!

This is the track that made me want to stop playing the same old riffs and really want to try and understand what I was doing. The phrasing, the dynamics and way the three of them work together just blew me away. And then there's that tone...

I'm mostly into blues or country; singer/songwriters.. perhaps it's easier for me to comprehend what they are doing.. regardless, to stir things up:

Here's King Crimson. A very unique band with a long history. Look at the stage presence here, this is 70s most out-there and heavy band, and they all are suited up! The founding member, and all the guitars, are hidden in the back, behind three (sic!) drum sets. If you haven't herd of them, they are led by Robert Fripp, an eccentric savant. I think his attitude best describes one of his quotes, with which i totally agree: "Unless you have seen a band live, you don't quite have a right to hold an opinion about it; secondly, unless you've seen a band live three times, your opinion is not likely to be substantial."

As a starter, something not so progressive --- Starless.

Arguably the greatest Canadian rock band of all time. Never made it huge in the US, but a must-know in Canada. A wall of sound coming at you with driving percussion and melodic bass lines. Simple yet complex.

An old favorite. Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, and Paul Kantner. WSP does a nice cover, too.

Brian Alexander here - and now for something completely different. This song is an anthem in Hawai'i, as you can tell by the crowd reaction to the beginning harmonic strums. Slack da keys, brah!

UM live. Incredible song. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeaze do this one and break it down. Thank you so much for what you do. Watching you and learning gave me the push and inspiration to pick up my guitar again and really learn how to be a guitar player instead of a guy who can play some guitar. Thanks Michael. Keep on Truckin’ bro! Looking forward to your concert tonight!

moe. is a 30 year national act started in Buffalo, NY. You will like these guys. They've played with Bobby and Phil, opened for The WHO, and co-headlined many festivals with bands like Trey, String Cheese, Gov't Mule and Umphrey's. Enjoy. Your Pal in SD where the buffalo de-pants stupid people. Steve

Would love a reaction on this tune. Just love this song since I first heard it. Can't figure out if it is slide guitar at the beginning.

Where do I start, man? This guy literally uses every part of his guitar to get so much out of it. Top that with a vocal melody and my brain is broken. Every time.

Taylor Goldsmith.. Right up there with Jason Isbell for best modern songwriter. Also a killer axe player.
