A Texas Country band with an Americana singer songwriter vibe. The singers tone is enough to immediately love them but they’ve got a fiddle player and telecaster guitarist throwing down some serious talent as well. Great stuff Michael! This is an OurVinyl sessions version so the quality is fantastic.

Southern Rock is still alive! Michael, recently discovered this band, and have not heard anything I have not liked. Lifetime member here, been battling health issues over the last year, and now feeling better! Was wanting in that time to start learning with GG, but was battling each day. Just had my electric fixed, and pumped to FINALLY start learning! Thank you for all you do, peace!

Hi Michael,

I am a new member of Guitar Gate and would like to recommend Tumeni Notes by Steve Morse. Steve is one of the most amazing guitar players and I don’t believe he has ever been featured on your channel. While highly rated among guitar players, he is often overlooked due to the non-commercial nature of his music. In addition to being one of the greatest guitar players around, he is also a good person. Always humble and friendly, Steve stopped touring to care for and be with his wife who only recently passed away. Hopefully a highlight on your show will introduce this great player to more people. Thanks.

This band often surprises and releases new albums regularly, often changing genres drastically from album to album. They are one of the most energetic live acts you'll ever see. This song is extremely grooving, catchy, and tasteful compared to the wild antics that some of their songs can be, and I think you'll like it. The frontman (John Dwyer) is a real wild man, though not as much in this particular performance.

We know her. We love her. Sierra Ferrell does not disappoint with this one. She knocks the vocals out of the park. I've watched and re-watched her the past couple of years, and I'm not surprised this ones gives me chills each time. Sierra is killing it.

Simple, haunting, sultry and nearly puts me in a trance. One of the best RX Y songs.

The guitar technique is obviously crazy good, but I really can't get enough of the rhythm section. All of them are so stellar at their instruments.

Quite possibly the craziest 12-string performance I've ever seen. Raw emotional vocals on top of the phenomenal playing.

Love the channel man, thanks for all you do.

Music should make us feel something! I know there is no guitar in this song, but please give it a chance. I promise it will hit you right in the feels. This is one of the most beautiful songs in the world. Listening to this song helps me remember the what's important in life. Cheers!

I got to see Colin Hay live recently, and his set hit all the classics. Here is one of them. I will have others, but this one is really fun!

Hi, Michael. I was a long time watcher of your utube videos. recent lifetime subscriber! Although this video may not be technically anything groundbreaking, i always go back to it as a great raw performance by Nick Salomon (sp?) and his friend (aka the Bevis Frond). this song has been covered by some well known artists, he's a legend. i'm still early in my guitargate training, but jumped on the lifetime membership as i like your videos and training style. looking forward to becoming a better guitar player. thanks, Michaeal : )

Marcus Mumford's wailing voice, the beautiful trombone, John Baptiste rocking a melodica, and then comes Celisse's tone.

Its glorious, its spectacular, and it's what we all need. Hit the button and enjoy

Hey Michael, here I've got a great performance from one of Bobby's lesser known project in the 80s, The Midnites. This is a great song by Little Feat and I think this is the best take on it. This performance features an amazing solo from Bobby Cochran, and I know you appreciate good drummers, so take a notice at him masterfully holding down the fort. Enjoy! (P.S, Brent Mydland was a keyboardist for this band before he joined the Dead!

I'll just let the music speak for itself, Michael. There is something about the Portuguese language that is otherwordly. I don't suspect this is useful for your reacts videos, but I love it. Always happy to share some European music with you.

Hi Michael! Always love your videos! Would love to get your reaction to my band The Whags based out of Seattle!

I know how much you love incredible and honest storytelling in a song, and I haven't seen Adeem come across your reactions yet. They are an amazing talent with a unique, honest, and touching story to tell across all of their songs. Give this one a try and I'm sure you'll agree

MP This that raw thing I recognized you would like. It isn't my vibe but it had that thread that unites us all. That thread is the secret to understanding everything.

His War Pigs is EPIC!! His Floyd is fantastic. The video and audio doubling is super cool. A daily double would be incredible, War Pigs and Brain Damage/Eclipse!!

Matteo & Tomo having some fun!

Most of my "guitar heroes" are not traditional heroes - mostly known for providing texture to a groove where the bass might be laying down a melodic foundation for a killer groove. Whenever I hear this, I want to pick up my guitar, buy a Tele, and start a band.

Hi Michael, Pat matheny was one of the first jazz players who helped nudge my love for guitar into a full blown obsession. I'm not a huge jazz fan and a lot of Pat's work goes into tangents, which I can only take so much of but I absolutely fell in love with phase dance the first time I heard it

I've just discovered this project about a month ago and can't get enough.

Rory Hoffman absolutely blew me away.
He's blind, holds his guitar like Jeff Healey did.
Absolutely brilliant multi instrumentalist.
Never heard of him before, can't stop listening now.

Joscho is just being his usual brilliant self.
Richard Smith is glorious as well.

Power trio AF for lack of suitable words

Romain Axisa is the former lead guitarist for The Big Push (Ren's band) and a fantastic solo artist. This original instrumental piece is a tribute to Django Reinhardt and a beautiful example of 'gypsy jazz'. There is some amazing technique going on here that I would love to get your reaction to.
