Greg Howe blowing my mind with some amazing guitar playing. The perfect example of what happens when you combine real knowledge of the neck, smooth technique and tasty note choices. I watch this and I think...I REALLY need to practice. Thank you Greg. Check out his latest band with Mohini Dey on bass. Yikes.

Victor Bailey on bass doing a solo tribute to Jaco. What makes this amazing is he wrote lyrics over Jaco's "Continuum," including the solo. This a great example of finding and learning melodies in something that appears to be beyond a player's reach until they sing those melodies. Plus, the lyrics are moving.
Just discovered these guys(?) and they rule! It's like someone gave Devo a microtonal guitar and loop pedal.
I would love to see a reaction for the gong "Green Grass and High Tides" by the Outlaws... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_cVyCTQBY0&t=201s I have seen many reactions and none get into the actual guitar playing -- I think this song ranks up there with "Stairway to Heaven"....
"Drop of a hat, these guys will rock & roll" Vincent Hanna-Heat
In honor of the prince video you just posted. Hereβs Petrucciβs rendition and tribute!
Paul McCartney playing his amazing song "Coming Up!" This song shows the great songwriting skills he has. What a great bass line too!
Hey Michael, this is such a beautiful laid back live track, Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood performing βCanβt Find My Way Homeβ a lovely straight forward and unfussy song for lots of beginners to get their heads around.
Opeth - Blackwater Park
Love the channel!
I saw how much you absolutely loved the Ghost of Perdition record and you specifically talked about grooves and riffs being the core of metal. I agree. This song has what might be the most concentrated amount of riffs of any song on the planet and I think youβd love noodling some of these out on video. Wicked solo as well.
Hey Michael,
Here is probably my favorite live performance from Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown.
I think you've already checked Mojo Workin' from them, this one sounds even better and special to me.
Have a great day !
Blackrock -yeah yeah not a live performance but what a jam!!
Great song by Camper Van Beethoven!!

LA LOM (Los Angeles League of Musicians live in Thalia Hall, Tiajuana Mexico. Latin Surf music is spreading. Here is a tasty bit. Just a trio making all that good sound.
Hey Michael,
I'd like to request a reaction to The Avett Brothers. Just because you haven't reacted to them before and they are my favorite. This live performance of "Kick Drum Heart" at Austin City Limits would be perfect!
It's hard to beat a live Avett Brothers show. Their live energy and raw emotion is unlike any other concert 've been to and while Seth isn't the greatest guitar player of all time, I think he is incredibly underrated and imaginative in his approach.
Thanks for everything, Michael!
