I'm 41, and have been playing since I was 13. My love is for blues, funk, and soul with country-hybrid chops peppered in for flavor. I play in a band called Great Scott and The Almighties. We play everything from Freddie King, SRV, The Fabulous Thunderbirds to James Brown, The Meters, etc. While I consider myself a competent player in the styles I like, I still do not consider myself a well-rounded player. Even after all these years. So, I'm here to finally learn modes, theory, and more to become the well-rounded player I want to be. This should be fun!
