Tropical Fuck Storm - You Let My Tyres Down (Live on KEXP)
I haven't submitted a react request in quite a while. I used to submit them more regularly and I kind of want to get back into that pattern. When this came up via the YouTube algorithm this morning, I clicked on it just because of the band's name. I'm not sure how I feel about the song yet, but I really like the bands energy. I would totally go check out a live show if they were ever in the area. The lead singer starts out with some pretty minimal guitar playing, but somewhere around the 4 min mark he plays a little solo where he's really cranking on that tremolo and gets some interesting sounds. The song: This is about dynamics, knowing your role, and just sittin' back and relaxing, hoping to bring just a little to the table. Duane Allman is so freaking tasteful, and you can hear him smiling when Aretha, Arethas. It's the little things that prompted me to stop lurking and throw this one out there.
