  • Here's Peter Gabriel doing a reworked version of "Digging In The Dirt." Tony Levin's bass line is just monster. In this performance, the guitar plays some of the bass parts. There chorus hits differently. Liking this slightly different drum part too. The simpler hi-hat part in this live cut creates a tension that creates an anticipation for the drums when the change comes. Very cool.

  • Apologies for posting back to back Yes tunes, but I just love the song "Roundabout." Such a sick bass line! Great breakdown where, as nasty lick is, the drums really shine and yet stay under the skin. Enjoy my friends.

  • Yes in 1991 with their classic "Owner Of A Lonely Heart." There are some very subtle intricacies that aren't as prominent in this clip as they are on the album. This is one of those songs that gives the illusion of simplicity when loaded with layered complexity. Great use of modulation as a tension builder at the end. There's a great documentary about how this song was recorded and how difficult it was to track in the studio.
