The best art has a way of resonating with something deep inside us. Beyond his amazing vocal ability, Chris was a skilled songwriter, crafting catchy and memorable songs--often with more complexity than might meet the ear--with lyrics that could be simultaneously beautiful and heart-wrenching.

Here he is, laying bare his soul accompanied by no more than a piano, as this song was originally intended, with nowhere to hide.

One of my favorite bands of all time, while they have an incredible eclectic discography, this rockin' track of their second album is the perfect intro. Between Jim James' insane vocals, powerful drumming, and dual lead guitars from Jim and Carl Broemel (who also rips on sax). This is music at its best, live, loud, rockin', and free! I dare you not to smile while watching this one.

1,4,5 chord progression in key of A with lead and double stops . I felt things start to flow a bit with this which was really cool. I made some connections with the layout of the chord shapes along the fretboard which really opened things up to move around on the neck.

This band is indescribable. Someone said that they put the "ABBA" in SABBATH, and that partially works. They have lots of live show stuff, if you want to dig up a version of "Evil in your eye", but this official video is probably better to dip your toes in. These guys are something on another level. I love the cult schtick they are doing, but above all their music is just dripping with goodness. Such variety.

1:02 - This band has been doing amazing things for a bit now, but i think they will hit the breakout point soon. Melodic, heavy, groovy and hits all the things you need in a hit. So good. So talented.

Very cool band, 60s/70s psychedelic rock with a modern twist. These guys have some interesting qualities in their musical composition, would love to hear your take on it.

Micheal, it's been said they are a Led Zeppelin band, but being their third studio album, it's a great ride, AMAZING vocals, outstanding guitar work, and I think I can safely say the band has matured and cannot wait to hear the rest of the album! Peace!
