How about some RXB love?!
These guys are amazing musicians that have made a lot of great, complex music.
They don't seem to get enough attention!

I really like this stripped down version of Adore by Amy Shark. It still seems like she's a bit unknown here in the U.S.
I guess the song is a bit simple but maybe there's enough there to talk about and maybe others might enjoy it too!

Running through some of my dirt sounds, from my amp as well as some of the pedals on my board right now. I like a lot of fuzz sounds, so I've got a bunch that I'll swap on or off my board when the need or mood strike!

Created a little loop on my ditto pedal and played over it.

Playing over the Dmaj/Bmin relative backing track. I'm trying to seek out notes, especially the roots. I feel like I couldn't find a "cool" way to play here and like my playing sort of ended up "dorky" sounding.

Just talking about how I approach bends and slides, particularly how I practice the former.

So here's a little exercise a guitar teacher taught me a while back that I thought others might find interesting or beneficial too.
The exercise is called The Wedge, and you start by playing the high e string (I'm at the 5th fret) with a down pick, then alternate pick your way through the exercise. Hopefully you can see the pattern I'm playing.
Sorry for sounding nasally, I had a sinus operation a few weeks ago!

Running through some of the exercises. I messed up on string skipping the first time but I'm trying to be better about accepting my mistakes and leaving them in videos. So being, I left it in and just took another shot at it!

Playing along with the Am backing track.
I always feel slow when improvising, generally as well as more specifically when coming up with little musical thoughts or ideas and connecting them.
I guess that's what practice is for!

I don't have much knowledge of off-beat or syncopated strumming patterns, but here's something simple.

I'm definitely going to throw this into my warm-up routine. I usually start off playing through the scale shapes, connecting them across the neck. Interestingly, even though I know the CAGED scale shapes, I've only connected them in my head to chords in a very limited way.
