This band is indescribable. Someone said that they put the "ABBA" in SABBATH, and that partially works. They have lots of live show stuff, if you want to dig up a version of "Evil in your eye", but this official video is probably better to dip your toes in. These guys are something on another level. I love the cult schtick they are doing, but above all their music is just dripping with goodness. Such variety.

Biography
I am a 45 year old father of 2 and I have a guitar problem. I have owned a guitar most of my life, but did not learn much more than some open chords to plink around with. With the pandemic lockdown, I committed myself to the guitar and have really made huge gains in knowledge, dexterity and skill level over the past two years. I have found it to be so rewarding, that I generally walk around my house with a guitar in my hands whenever I can. One of the greatest advancements in my playing has been through learning some of the most base fundamentals that I was missing. It's amazing how one small key concept will connect broader concepts, and that feeds a huge exponential growth in understanding. I will admit, I am learning much of this in reverse order, but I am on the cusp of moving to the next level, and the public videos have been a tremendous help. Really excited to jump into these lessons!

My 15 year old son has been pulling me farther into the world of modern rap/hip hop. Once I got past my hesitation, I have really found some fantastic artists (Kendrick is an obvious one), but this guy is one of my absolute favorites. He is a top notch lyricist and his band is on point. I love everything about this. Feel free to pick one of the songs in the set if you choose to review. Everything is outstanding.

Powerful, hopeful, gut-wrenching and beautiful. This song is like a punch in the gut and the hand that helps you back up. Not the most guitar heavy song in the world, but his capacity for conveying emotion is up there with the greats of songwriting.

If this song doesn't hit you in the feels, I don't know what will. These guys are some of the best contemporary songwriters in my opinion. Their album " A Black Mile to the Surface" is an absolute masterpiece. Hope you enjoy.

Michael, This is not a complex song, but a powerful one (or at least it is to me). He has a knack for writing songs that have a melancholy feel, but a hopeful resolution. I think we can all relate to this song at times in our lives. I really enjoy that kind of theme. Just want you to have that experience if you haven't heard this yet. Hits me right in the feels. :)
