Hi Michael and to all the community, itβs Yuri Del Signore. Itβs been years that I follow you and you always keep the passion alive. You know I find myself struggling a lot lately but I always try to give my support to the channel.
Because when I donβt feel too much inspired and I would prefer not to pick up the guitar and practise, I turn on your channel and it needs βladies and gentlemen, Michael Palmisano hereβ and all I want to do is to pick up my guitar, play and explore music.
Iβve always felt shy to leave you a request on Guitargate, so there is my first if itβs possible:
There is a local band here in Athens Greece, their vibes is something else, every song it is like being in a dream with an escalation of emotions and colours, you know when you suddenly find yourself in a weird and mystic place, you donβt know why and how, but it makes sense anyway? Well these guys give me that sensation.
Anyway thank you very much for the effort and for the passion you give to all of us.
Cheers!

Mitch King is an experience to say the least. He is able to play a lot of instruments really well at the same time. I'm struggling through bare chords on guitar, but at least I got Guitargate! Cheers to all
Hi Michael -
Check out this tune from Chicago Based Neal Francis
Love this sound - I'm trying to piece together the chords and harmony and struggling! Take a gander!
I love this video so much! I love that they include the drummer sharing the idea with the band and the bandβs response. Above all, it shows how much fun it is to make music together!!! So good!!! Plus, a killer bass line at 1:15 and priceless reactions by the band.
It's John Moreland, need I say more
What's up Michael,
Got a great video from you from this kid Daniel Donato, he's got a great cover of fire on the mountain and the kid and his band can absolute shred!!! Hope you get the chance to check it out. Also go O's brotha!!!!!
I love when music transports you, and Neverland is a great destination. This track definitely takes you places. Most of it is like a trippy, beautiful duet between the singer and guitarist that you just don't often see. It's equal parts tasty and surreal, and I just love it, and I hope you will too.
Ripper ac/DC blues song
Sorry about the vid quality here. This is one of my favorite instrumentals. Hope you enjoy it.
This song has a really cool bouncy syncopated time signature, 2 against 3 or something? I don't understand theory or time signatures but there's clearly something unique going on here.
21 yrs old Luke McQueary on lower Broadway. One of the best in Nashville.
Unprocessed is a prog rock band with an unique sound that differentiates it from others, very intricate guitar playing, awesome drumming and percussion, godlike bass and all of them in sync creating very catchy and fun songs to listen to with various techniques applied
Guitar and Vocals: Manuel Gardner Fernandes
Guitars: Christoph Schultz & Christopher Talosi
Bass: David John Levy
Drums: Leon Pfeifer
Okay, I know it's not a live video, but I couldn't find a live version with decent sound as of this posting. Lol. Anyways, somehow this song's simple melody gets woven into a chordal tapestry that I believe only Jacob could conceive. It's a trip, but it's also catchy as hell.
I know how you are with lyrics and this is absolutely brilliant songwriting. It would be a pleasure to watch you react to this with stops along the way to let it sink in.
Time to get back to some blues. Ferocious and dynamic performance from the Texas Cannonball Mr Freddie King.
Awesome artist and an awesome band. So many things done right here. Everyone contributes just the right amount to make the song really click. Her voice is something that gets stuck in your head and the rhythm section is right in the pocket the whole song. Huge thumbs up to the drummer. He is a great example that you don't need your eyesight to be a true professional π
Stumbled upon this song thanks to the Youtube algorithm and the guitarist really kept me hooked. He's not doing anything over the top, yet still adding so much to the song. Some great playing and a beautiful country tone from his telecaster.
Hey Michael, I'm new to guitar gate but a long time subscriber. Your channel has put me onto so many great artist and has taught me a lot. Anyways, I can across this song not too long ago and it is amazing. Between Santana's style and Chris's voice you end up with a masterful song. Thank you
Snakeskin boots and TWANG. Love this.

This band, The Aristocrats, is a sort of prog-jazz-fusion group featuring the amazing Guthrie Govan on guitar. I really love this particular performance of the song "Flatlands" (written by the bassist, Bryan Beller, who has also worked with Steve Vai, Joe Striani, Dweezil Zappa, Mike Keneally, Dethklok, and more). Guthrie's solo is so soulful and emotional while also just being an insane display of speed at times. He makes it look so easy.
Singer/songwriter. He has a YT Channel with many good songs and unique style of playing. Straight out of the mountains of Appalachia.
Thanks for the videos!
This song along with the album "True North" was recorded live in northern Norway and released in 2022.
The song itself contains some interesting chord progressions, jazz vibe and chords and worth analysis.
Some post production probably prevents it from being listed as a live album.
Hoping you see this and give it a listen. I know you are a fan of these guys, this is a really awesome performance! Hope you enjoy it!
