This young 18yo girl made me believe in the future of music again π She sings a lot of very old countryblues songs and accompanying them with the traditional countryblues picking style and doing it absolutely brilliantly. The young generations are not lost after all.

A friend of mine introduced me to this band a few days ago and now I can't get enough of them. I haven't heard anyone play so tight and in the pocket for a long long time. And the groove catches you immediately.

Awesome artist and an awesome band. So many things done right here. Everyone contributes just the right amount to make the song really click. Her voice is something that gets stuck in your head and the rhythm section is right in the pocket the whole song. Huge thumbs up to the drummer. He is a great example that you don't need your eyesight to be a true professional π

An absolutely beautiful tune and even better performance. This is a textbook example of the saying that music is the language everyone understands. I got something in my eye watching this...

Forget whale noises and whatnot and listen to these brothers instead. These guys have really mastered their style. No fancy tricks, no weedly-weedlys on the upper neck. Just simple, floaty, cinematic, instrumental music with a ton of space and vibes.

I allways say, that a song is good if you can close your eyes and paint a picture, or a scenerey in your head of what you are hearing. Tha's one of the reasons I posted this. The other one is, that you don't often hear a Spanish style guitar played on a tele.

She pop'd up in my facebook feed last week, and I truly wondered why I haven't heard of her before. I've binged trough her discography this past week and I'm completely sold! This song is called connection. I think it has a great flow and something for everybody, chord progressions, lyrics, band dynamics etc.
In this clip the lighting guy is asleep, the cameraman is probably drunk, but the sound engineer does his part.

One of the greatest things you come across, when searching for new music to listen to, is to find great young talent with beautiful performances, spreading the joy of music and playing together for the whole world. These kind of videos make me feel that music is in safe hands in the future. It's not all going to be just generic pop. Heartwarming stuff πβ€οΈ

An awesome guitarduo from Mexico. The rhythm and strumming is just something that really catches your attention here. I believe Gabriela has an online course on how to play the rhythm like she does. Perfect execution and a great melodic tune.

One of my dad's alltime favourite bands and offcourse their tunes kinda got stuck on my head too when I was a kid. They are coming to my town in few weeks to play in a summer festival here in southern Finland and I'm goin' to see them for the first time. They're probably gonna play their big hits, like, Easy Livin' and Lady in black, but I really hope they play July morning too. Such an awesome tune.

Erja is a true Finnish national treasure. She's been voted high on top guitar player-lists numerous times by many established guitar magazines etc. She's known also as "the queen of slide guitar" even though she doesn't use a slide in this clip. The solo in the middle is just awesome. God, I miss guitar solos in todays music... And yes, don't be ashamed to admit that many of you guys clicked on this video mainly because of her smokin outfit π I don't blame you.

This is a Finnish band that's been on your livestreams before. They play the all kinds of classic anthems (and other songs) in a bluegrass style. I had the privilege to see them live on a cruiseship from Turku to Stockholm in 2014, before they broke the internet with their version of Thunderstruck. I've seen them a couple of times afterwards and they always deliver! An absolute must see liveband! They are a kind of band that brings bluegrass a bit closer to the general public and that's just super cool. Hits double as hard for a guy like me who loves bluegrass and grew up with all the heavy metal and rock'n'roll stuff that they play π

I love these old blues-tunes. Nothing fancy in this one, the groove and strumming just the keeps you hooked in for the whole song. It goes on like a train and you just don't want to get off of it. Really genuine and down to earth video too, like it should be when we are talking about the blues.

In the words of Monty Phyton: "And now, something completely different".
The bands musical style is something like ska-punk-russian-turbo-polka-metal...
This is a band I came across about 2 years ago. It started as a bit of a joke when our band was thinking of a different way to play Get Lucky by Daft punk. One member posted a link of Russkaja's version of it and after that I pretty much binged through their whole discography (Yeah, it was brilliant).
Their music was so different and awesome that I couldn't help myself. I listened to it so much everywhere at home, in the car, everywhere, that it had a big influence on my sons and the band is now my firstborn's favourite band π
The band is Austrian and the lead singer moved to Austria from the soviet union at about the time it collapsed in late 80's.
