I’ve followed Lera for many years and really great to see you recently reacted to ‘What I’m Looking For’. Lera’s lyrics and chord progression is always very creative and somewhat different to many. And of course her vocals are top notch. This track is no exception in highlighting Lera’s songwriting, musical and vocal talent - an artist who deserves much more recognition than she has received to date and thanks for bringing Lera to the attention of everyone. keep up the good work Michael.

An older Patrick Droney video from an unreleased track. The vibes in this room are incredible

Hi Michael and Guitargate friends!

I've been watching your react videos for a while now and in effort to improve my guitar game, I also thought I might take a chance to submit my all-time favorite artist Jon Bellion to have you react to.

During COVID, Jon put on an fully online performance with some super talented musicians. I attended the live show and had such a blast. The video I submitted is from that same performance of the final song of the performance and has a ton of improv that I enjoy watching from time to time. Not only does he play all originals, he also has strings and horns, and then conducts the whole thing.

Anyway, if you get to this song, I hope you enjoy it!

Happy jamming!

Having fallen in love with guitar over the last three years, Sturgill has blown me away with his technical guitar proficiency and how he sings. This performance on SNL is a great representation of those skills, and I hope to one day have the ability to sound like him.....at least on the guitar, anyway.

Guitargate has changed how I learn and keeps me motivated through each incremental improvement. Thanks for what you do, Michael!

v/r,

Eli

Lera Lynn has flown under too many people's radar. Amazing vocals and songwriting and always has a great band backing her.

Hey, Michael! I wanted you to check this guy out. He was in a band called Attack Attack and now has solo material. Warning: the video will make you laugh

Is this not what we wish we all
could do? The picking, the melody, the story. And some harmonica for good measure.

Be surprised. Be VERY surprised. This is a video from a record breaking world tour in 1991 by the band a-ha. One particular concert is in the Guinness Book of World Records for largest paying crowd at a concert at 198,000.

Would love to see some commentary on these guys. This band has a super tight sound and doesn't look like you've done any commentary on them before.

LA LOM (Los Angeles League of Musicians) are the real deal. They have their own unique sound that harkens back to Latin American music of the 50's and 60's.

Forget what songs you know by Tears for Fears, cause this is their magnum opus. Oletta Adam's is such an underrated vocalist and kills it on the piano. Guitar solos and a bongos solo. Yes, bongos. I know its long (11 minutes), but its well worth the watch/listen.

Holy cow! That's all I can say. Had lost hope for new music. Stumbled across this and wow. Lit that fire again! Thanks for all you do to keep music bubbling up and out of all of us!

Hey Michael! In celebration of Billy Strings' first live album release on big streaming, I'd love to see a review of this passionate performance of "Away From The Mire."

Incubus has grown and changed a lot through the years. This year saw the re-recording and re-release of what I think is one of their best albums, Morning View. Circles, the song in this video, is one of my favorites! It's an older live performance, but still super heavy and awesome! Mike Einzinger deserves more recognition as a guitarist than he gets.

(Guy's head in the way of his hands so extra points for you to tell us what Jake is doing)

18:19 timestamp. Telecaster solo, finger picking. Jake Xerxes Fussell - not super famous but should be. "Folk song interpreter" bringing history to light with AMAZING guitar work. Beautiful songs, super nice guy. Please listen to this one, you won't regret it!

So many road. So many moments. Mayer gets saved; Mayer saves them all. Bob always has the best inversations. Jeff is some soft of ticklish glue. Oteil and the boys keep it all together. Absolute stunner. Signed: a casual fan and lifelong dreamer.

Great song and jam from Goose's recent tour. The band is firing on all cylinders right now and it's easy to see. The interplay between Cotter and Rick is super evident in this one and Trevor really shines as well. I'm curious about what is going on harmonically around 3:20 in the outro section. I tried to pick a tune that wouldn't be too long. Thanks Michael, love all the work you do.

A newer song from Larkin Poe. The music video just dropped today, but of course I picked a live version to share with the channel. I like the blue-phoria concept. Blue-phoria meaning the intersection between joy and sorrow, feeling so good but you know it can't last. There is a short but hot little slide solo here and this seems like the perfect summer outdoor concert jammer. Enjoy!
If you do like the live version I recommend checking out the video, it's easy to find on YouTube.

There are many covers of this song. But his voice and that solo put it on top for me. Even if you don't have time for a react video, i recommend you check it out. Thank you.

More chords and techniques than I can follow. Its a master class.

Michael,

I love your channel and am a huge fan of all that you do. I'd be honored if you reviewed my song!
