For the dad's.

A monster producer with hits peppering the top 100, Jon Bellion is a phenomenal artist in his own right. After a 6 year hiatus from performing, he's released an album titled Father Figure focused on wrestling with how to be a dad in our modern times. This particular song was written in the anxiety of becoming a dad on what ended up being the eve of the premature arrival of his first born.

I'd love to see a breakdown of this song. He has such an interesting guitar and story behind it.

I was first convinced of the greatness of Goose by Michael's Peach Fest reaction video. I have essentially been binging Goose since and have thoroughly enjoyed the ride and watching them evolve into an even better band. This was on full display at their recent show in Indianapolis (that I attended). This Tumble is off the charts good and goes so many different places, including into the new "Goontz" territory. I miracled my nephew a ticket to his first Goose show (he knew of them because his dad is a fan, but hasn't really "heard" them). He's now a fan and bought his first electric guitar after the inspiring performance.

Thanks to Rick Beato and Alison Krauss for introducing me to this one. For those who think of Tom Jones as a cheesy relic from the '60s, he was a beast of a vocalist.

Just read that although the song was released in 1978 when they played it live for a night in London in 1996 mark knopflers solo at the end of sultans of swing gave the song a whole new meaning with the slow building solo at the end

Back with another Karnivool request - this one isn't live, but after an exended wait (another reason they draw comparisons to Tool), Karnivool are back with a fresh release. Check it out - if ya want. :)

Shpongle is a psychedelic electronic music project from England that formed in 1996. The group includes Simon Posford and Raja Ram. The duo are considered to be one of the progenitors of the psybient genre β€” a genre combining world music with psychedelic trance. These guys get a killer lineup of musicians when they do these live shows. Especially love when they use this drummer who you may recognize from his Greatful dead cover band Joe Russos almost dead.

Isn't this what we all wish we could do? Tubes cranked as loud as possible and and mastery of feedback. First 9 minute opening is incredible!

Not really looking for a reaction, but this is a video of an original song I wanted to put out to the GuitarGate community. Thanks!

Awesome acoustic performance of one of the most instantly-recognizable songs in the rock sphere. Check it out if you haven't!

I grew up during the Power Ballad Years. I feel that one of the best power ballads of all time is also one of the most underrated power ballads. That song is Skid Row's "I Remember You". Whenever I hear it on the radio I have to stop whatever I am doing to listen to this song. It epitomizes everything that a great power ballad should be: outstanding vocals, lyrics that pull on our heart strings, multiple guitars blending acoustic, rhythm, and lead with catchy riffs that drive the emotions of the song. I would love to hear your reaction to this song. Thank you
