Dear Michael,

Love your lessons and video's! I'm a huge fan of your reaction video's. Love the way you talk from te heart and always are so open about your life. The good, and the bad. More people should do that who have a big and great fan base. It's okay not to be okay is my motto lately.

From Holland I'm sending you a video that blew my mind. Never heard of this woman before. I feel ashamed after hearing her sing and play the guitar. And you can put here right next to B.B. king, Stevie ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton and more. I'll vouch for her. As a music lover I was stunned by her joy and ease she plays this song.

And also I'm really curious how your reaction would be like, hearing her play the guitar and sing. She's absolutely amazing. Like you always say in the titles of your video's.

YOUR WELCOME.

Keep up the lovely content and all the best for you and your family.

Greetings Peter Bogaards

Stick Figure is a reggae and dub band founded in 2005. The group has released eight full-length albums and one instrumental album, all of which were written and produced by frontman and self-taught multi-instrumentalist Scott Woodruff. The live band consists of Woodruff, keyboardist Kevin Bong, drummer Kevin Offitzer, bassist Tommy Suliman, guitarist, keyboardist, and guitarist/backup vocalist Johnny Cosmic and percussionist Will Phillips.

I suspect that Steve Winwood would appreciate this "cover"...

This young 18yo girl made me believe in the future of music again πŸ˜ƒ She sings a lot of very old countryblues songs and accompanying them with the traditional countryblues picking style and doing it absolutely brilliantly. The young generations are not lost after all.

John Bell and Mikey Houser of Widespread Panic play Driving Song acoustic.

These guys are awesome. The band was started by Martin Johnson, former frontman of the pop-rock band Boys Like Girls. Their songs definitely evoke a sense of nostalgia for the 80s. They mix elements of rock, pop, and occasionally electronic or funk influence. Martin is a pretty good story teller too. This song is probably their most popular but you should give their whole album a listen.

These guys are amazing and clearly having a lot of fun messing around with this tune together.
I love how Joscho can play in any comfortably play in genre and still sound original just like the virtuoso that he is.

Love the melodies and chords! So much feeling! I've been watching your reacts videos for a few years now with my dad and thought I would finally share a video and see what you think.

This band is the most exciting group on my radar. With great lyrics, passion for music, and excellent guitar parts, Wunderhorse is the complete package!

There is an ALARMING lack of K.K and Tipton on the channel ❀️

For anyone who needs a gateway into the band that is Wilco, give this a run. Very unusual chord progression that leads into an epic bridge with one of the coolest guitar solos by Nels Cline. Dynamic songwriting by Jeff Tweedy mixed with brilliant musicianship of Nels Cline and Co. make them one of the all time greats.

Hi Michael, hope you're doing well. I was browsing the channel and realized we didn't have anything covering Them Crooked Vultures, my favorite supergroup of all time. Josh Homme, Dave Grohl, the very underrated Alain Johannes, and of course John Paul FREAKIN Jones. I know a lot of fans of this band will give me flak for not requesting one of the bigger tunes like "No One Loves Me & Neither Do I" but musically speaking there's a lot of really cool stuff going on in this tune that I'd love to get your take on as a teacher.

Love & Blessings,
Joey

Very talented young lady... blues/jazz

I’m a sucker for arrangements and this song with its different parts, time sig changes is top tier. And the vocals by Floor Jansen are out of this world. Operaticmetal never sounded so good.

One of the truly great singer/songwriters of this era and deserves way more recognition. Her vocals are pure perfection but the chord structures in her songs are brilliant.

John is one of the most underrated songwriters and pickers out there, everything he writes is so unique

Pretty amazing stuff that may be of interest. Vittorio Camardese demonstrating advanced tapping techniques from way back. Be interesting to know just how far back this does go; I would have thought plucking and tapping are synonymous. I believe there was a vaudeville entertainer called Roy Smeck who also used tapping techniques on hawaiian guitar and banjos. But it seems safe to say that tapping was around long before it was invented in California in the 70s. Does anybody know if any classical players used this technique possibly much further back?

Michael, please! One of my favorite songs from what is easily one of my favorite bands. Would love to hear your take on writing melodic riffs. Without a doubt the best quality video and audio of this band live. The video link is timestamped, but if needed the song starts at 21:55

Stumbled on this cover getting my dose of Hendrix for the day. This guy is unbelievably talented. Please point out some of what’s going on here, have always loved the Gypsy Jazz style!

This band is the future! Lyrics that connect, memorable guitar, and a passion for music that's extremely refreshing! If you like this check out their other live stuff.

"Can I play my guitar? Can I play it loud?"
There is no way to better describe this live performance. Huge emotion by this power-trio. Everyone is just on point! Definitely one of my favorites.

This is a whole vibe! Two guitars in a living room with brilliant tone. I know they are tight and have played with each other forever but man they make it look so easy and chill. Thanks for all you do Michael!
