I've been a fan of Chris Buck's for awhile now, but as I've been introduced to new artists I think this is an artist others should know. After watching the react with John Mayer talking about getting good at pick scrapes and that technique, I don't think there is a better guitarist alive that exemplifies that sounds.
As a student of GuitarGate, i figured i would share a video my band Be-er made a couple years ago. The song is called Hide. We are a long time bunch of friends in Burlington Vermont using the cover of a band as an excuse to hang out.

There are very few songs that really manage to get into my emotions like this one has many times.This is such a well written song with an amazing journey. Another crazy female country talent, Ashley McBride.
This is one of my favorite covers by Cody. He is the best performer I have ever seen from his live concerts to acoustic covers like this one. His lead guitarist Jake is also an animal on the guitar. Cody is real Country Music! Check it out!!
Donβt let the unpronounceable name fool you! This trio out of Texas lays down some very original sounds. The drummer has remarkable timing, the bass is incredible and the guitarists βearwormsβ and tone give this band a unique and refreshing sound. Iβd love to get a reaction to this tune. This was the first video I saw that convinced me that acoustic guitars are not just strummy sing-along instruments.
