This is Avery Wilson, the best male singer I have ever heard, covering an R&B classic. You might be wondering why I pointed you to this cover when there is no guitar to be found. The reason is because Avery has said that he learned how to do riffs/runs and developed his ear by listening to and copying guitar solos with his voice. I've heard vocal coaches say that, when he sings, it's like he is playing his voice like a guitar.

I'd be really curious about you're take on what he is doing musically. Also the piano player in this cover is very good. The improvisation in this video is just insane.

This dude just improv shreds this tune on the streets of Buenos Aires. Not sure exactly what we'd "dissect" but hes amazing

So much to love about this video:
Tight band
Killer hook
Dynamic changes
Modal changes
Face melting
Oozing, unctuous sounds

You will not be disappointed. Takes a while to get to dessert, but the main course is loaded with cool things to explore. Hope you enjoy your sonic meal. Sop me up with two biscuits!

Title says it all..

The solo I'd like to focus on starts at 18:02 and ends around 18:45.. The passion and power he puts into every note and chords is insane and just speaks!

Travis Tritt kills this song on a solo acoustic. Such a country classic tune done by a true country artist.
