My mind was blown when I realized the guy from Smokey and the Bandit and Coach Red Beaulieu from The Waterboy was an absolute smoke show of a guitar player. What a legend. Can't go wrong with Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins!

Hey Michael! I know you’re always looking for up and coming artists so here is my recommendation, though admittedly biased as drummer is my first cousin. “On My Way” @2:45 is a solid choice for the community but there are no wrong choices. HIT THE BUTTON

In a thousand years when future civilizations ask “What is a Van Halen?” I hope they find this video. It’s King Edward, man…I’m speechless.
:20-33–Notice how the first lick starts with a D, second lick seems too start with either an up-rake or (my guess) a sweep from E to D, and the third lick starts with an open G; also, each pull off from D to C in the G string has that signature Chris Buck slide thing happening. All this happens at 210 MPH so I missed it on the album.
:34–Notice how each verse riff cycle begins with 4 on the A then goes back to 3 on the A after chickin’ picks the D (the C diad ends each cycle and I said what I said about chickin’ pickin).
3:13–Notice how Eddie realizes his tuning is screwed and his solution is to just hit the damn thing harder to get the G string in tune. I’ve been the King’s subject for about two decades and I’ve noticed that Eddie had two solutions to problems like this: hit it harder or hit it again.
There is SO much more to find in here so I hope you brought your pencil, you’ll need something to write on, man.
RIP Edward Van Halen

I found this on TikTok and had to find the full version on YouTube IMMEDIATELY. It’s a well-written tune about a soldier returning home from war; the song is played on a really cool instrument as well. Benjamin played something that is not a guitar or a mandolin but an amalgamation of the two.

Two Nashville legends cover Whipping Post with Duane Allman in the audience. An incredible performance to say the least.

Forgive me, Guthrie Trapp fans, for not knowing the name of this song I promise I’ll learn VERY soon.
This performance is every band’s dream and every club guitarist’s nightmare at the same time. Imagine playing a gig and in walks none other than Joe Bonamassa who joins you on stage for a jam and plays an absolutely mind blowing solo—a legend playing to a live crowd for one of the first few times 16 months. I’d love to know what was going through his head when Joe finished and it was his turn…the in walks another legend. The club guy is just as awesome as Joe.

I can’t find the fight words to describe exactly what happens in this video, all I can say is that Steve Hill is certifiably not from planet earth.

Listen, we all know KWS is a beast, but something happened this night—someone must have fed the gremlins after midnight or something. I’m telling you, this man was ON FIRE.

I never thought I'd offer a Post Malone video for a reaction on this channel. I never thought I needed country Post Malone in my life, but I do. Nothing super impressive, just a bunch of guys having a good time with a really good song. Enjoy!

One of the best electric guitar tones and performances in history. I'd kill to have Eddie's Balance tone.
