Hi Michael- your couses have been transformative, thank you.

Hozier has been around for a minute, but I feel like his guitar playing is grossly underrated. Jason Isbell gave him a shoutout on twitter recently, so I figured I’d give him one here. Lots to love about this track but the acoustic solo is a personal favorite. Would be great to get your take.

I found Matthew based on his reviews of vintage gear, but his playing kept me there. His individual play on his normal content is excellent and I think he's going to go places. This is a new official release video. I hope you will review it. I think you will enjoy it and become a follower yourself! Thanks!

Michael,

Thank you, your channel and community got me through the years that we will not speak of. I have learned so much from your tutorage. With that said, all of our journeys have struggles; you have chosen to share yours with us with dignity and grace. Some may find weakness to be a character flaw, I believe it to be chasm to be explored and an opportunity for growth. That is why I continue to battle with my relationship with music.

Thanks to your channel I went down a worm hole and found a perfect example of where I want to go with my music. I also feel that you and the community will appreciate the artistry of Nat Myers. Can you please try to explain Nat Myers’ picking hand. Obviously, Nat’s muscle memory has taken over; how would you recommend that a beginner attempt such a feet.

Hey Michael, I watched a Beato video a while back where he said the most important song he ever learned was Hey Joe so I thought I better learn it myself. I did and he was right, so much stuff packed in there. Once I got it down I went looking for some variations on it and stumbled across Popa Chubby. Wow is all i can say about this guy. Talk about new study material!! How about telling us about some of his choices on this classic tune? I come from a bluegrass banjo background so all of this stuff is new and exciting and foreign to me. Thanks!

A group of musicians up there doing amazing things and being completely tuned into one another through numerous tempo changes. This performance is a real treat, in my opinion! Hope you check it out!
