I wouldn't lead you wrong! you may have seen it, but if not - Tedeschi Trucks absolutely CRUSHED Sly & The Family Stone with a killer medley on Howard Stern last week. When you start as strong as they did, it's hard to keep killin' it but they did.

I think this is a fantastic example of how important arrangement is. Allen's guitar playing here isn't all that complicated but its purposeful and fits the song perfectly and leaves room for his insane vocals. He's able to create a one-man pocket by playing in just the right spots. Sometimes less is more!
