The Fabulous Thunderbirds in Italy playing "Two Time My Lovin'." I've always loved this song. Jimmie Vaughan's chord voicing (rather than first position G C D) is what makes this tune work...and his Micro-Vibe gives a subtle rotary effect. The verse guitar part has a different lick on the album, but I like bands that don't just cover their own songs.

Eric Clapton in 2013 playing one of my favorite songs "Gotta Get Over" from the album "Old Sock." The riff at the top of the song is slightly different from the album version...but both are right for the tune. Although this is a phone video from someone upfront, you are able to see Clapton's hands and technique up close.
A younger Joe Bonamassa with Jimmy Barnes just playing the melody
This is an absolutely mind blowing performance by Wayne Krantz (Keith Carlock - drums, Tim Lefebvre - bass) of "Greenwich Mean." One of my favorite songs of his. This is an example of a stellar rhythm section supporting a one of kind guitarist. So damn good. Time shifts. All kinds of textures. Thank you Wayne!
I'd love to get your reaction to this. Mike & Ruthy are a husband/wife duo, who formed The Mammals, and host the Summer Hoot at the Ashokan Center up in NY. Have seen them a couple times and have become somewhat friendly with Mike. Ruthy has easily become one of my favorite female voices. Great folk band that doesn't seem to be that well known. Would love a breakdown of the progression and the vocal melody and why it hits so hard. I've got C F Am F C G essentially. So 1 4 6m 4 1 5? Thanks!
