This band is indescribable. Someone said that they put the "ABBA" in SABBATH, and that partially works. They have lots of live show stuff, if you want to dig up a version of "Evil in your eye", but this official video is probably better to dip your toes in. These guys are something on another level. I love the cult schtick they are doing, but above all their music is just dripping with goodness. Such variety.

Rhythm 201 - Barre Chords - C# and B

Giving the barre chord lesson a shot. I really hate those things further up the neck, and I feel like I struggle to mute the low E when I'm playing in pattern 2. I hear it ring through especially clear when I'm playing on acoustic, so I'm trying to improve that so the playing is cleaner.

Marc Broussard, Joe Bonamassa, Josh Smith - That's What Love Will Make You Do

Blues
Lead Guitar
Rhythm guitar

Vocals, lead, rhythm, to me everything here is perfect. Its all about the tone.

When I was getting into guitar it seemed like every time I heard a song that made me stop and check who is playing guitar it would turn out to be Joe Bonamassa in collaboration with someone. He brings out the absolute best without taking over. You can see how much Marc is enjoying this performance.

I'd love to hear a break down of this performance by Marc Broussard, Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith.

Michael, first off thank you for your courses and videos. I have been getting re-inspired to finally pick my guitar back up to start making music again, and learn more about my instrument. Anyway here is a song off of Weens 12 Golden Country Greats, and a great example of the connection between band mates.

Ramblin Man, covered by Lexington Lab Band

Rhythm guitar

The Lexington Lab Band is I'm my opinion, the best all around cover band on the planet. If you're in a band, watching their video's will undoubtedly improve your performances.

I see this song has been requested a few times, and I have to add my vote for it. Would love to understand what makes those three guitars flow so well together from a theory perspective.

Nels Cline is in rare form for the solo here, and when the band brings it all together in the end…chef’s kiss.

I think you would really enjoy this one.

Michael
You often say just how hard it is working in a trio. This duo do an amazing job of just filling the room with a pounding rhythm that grooves hard. Great song and great lyrics / singing too.
Would love it if you could a REACT to this video.

Cheers

He’s just such a great songwriter, and even if Michael doesn’t pick this it’s highly beneficial to have his chord voicing in your repertoire.

Spanky Alford - "The Lord's Prayer"

Just found out about this legend and wanted to share.
The way he weaves his chord tones gives me goosebumps.
Taking it to church!
