Jack Barksdale. Remember that name. I'm betting you'll eventually hear this amazing kid play. I had the opportunity to hear him at a small gathering for my wife's friend (a patron of the arts) who asked for music as she is on palliative care (hospice) with stage 4 cancer. She also asked that this event benefit Music Meets Medicine (https://www.musicmeetsmedicine.org/ - an organization brings music to patients who need it most). Anyhow I've included the live streaming link of the entire show, but check out Jack performing "Gone" at 25:30. There are other songs he performs after plus a few other acts. Hi Michael. This song played randomly on a Spotify playlist. It is the story of my life crystallised into a few minutes and it made me cry. Im sure many will resonate with its message. It's simple but PJ uses interesting chord positions. Please disect it for us.
