Do you want to hear an electric guitar solo with distortion from the 1940s? I recently learned about the life and legacy of Sister Rosetta Tharpe and have been flabbergasted I haven't heard of her before. While at the time she was considered a gospel and blues artist, what I hear is rock and roll. Would love to hear your reaction to this. It's really beautiful stuff.
