Knowing your dedication to song writing, I'd love to hear you break down a Joni Mitchell track. Personally, when I hear people talk about great song writers, they often rattle off a few giants and then remember Joni and rewrite their lists with her at the very top. She recently had a brain aneurism and forgot how to sing and play. Since then she tougher herself again from scratch and just played Newport at age 78. This recording is with a very good band. Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays and Jaco among others. Not many singer/song writers have been able to field so much talent. Its a testament to her writing and arrangement
