Biography
Grew up in New Jersey, the 5th oldest of 15 children. My dad was a guitar teacher, my mother a piano teacher. I let neither of them teach me. Played saxophone in band throughout school. Then joined the Navy, and decided to learn how to play guitar. Had some really great teachers, but my skills and knowledge had huge holes in it. So, here I am, starting over, from square one and learning the stuff I should have worked on 20 years ago. No regrets, as I have had a lot of fun playing guitar over the years. Now I have lots of time to get serious and spend several hours a day getting better!

I have always been a "country" guitar player - and on a mission to become more versatile and well rounded.

So, I started the journey of relearning how to play guitar about six moths ago. I had lots of bad habits, many gaps in my knowledge, was stuck in a rut, and finding it very difficult to learn more advanced stuff or improvise without sounding like the last solo I took. I have a long way to go -- but this is so much better than a few months ago.

First time I have submitted a video on here. Not my best playing, as I was way over thinking this. But, it has some cool stuff in it I will probably revisit again...
