Hi everyone, I'm Mark. I'm in my late-40s (or early 50s depending on when you read this!) - I picked up a guitar when I was 16 and since then... not much. I was one of those 'play a few chords a couple times a year to make sure I still "had it"' players. I didn't know much beyond a G, Am and D. I started playing again during the first UK Covid lockdown and learned some scales, learned a couple of easy songs, and decided I wanted a more solid footing in guitar. After a lot of YouTube, I found my way here to GG, thanks to Michael's channel. My goal is to learn my way around the fretboard and be able to jam to anything. I'm not going to make it as a shredder anymore, but maybe as a lazy bluesman :)
