I know. I have posted twice already, but I was not happy with the effort I put in and not pleased with the outcome, so posting another. I have been working on timing and note placement and not trying to fill every bit of space with sound just for the sake of it. I think I might be ready to put this chapter to bed, but I probably won't

I really need work on timing and creativity, but I am getting there.

I know, not a guitar song, but, man, this one hits hard and is so real and beautiful.

Holy smokes this was driving me nuts , but here it is. I couldn't figure out how to get the video and sound to line up. Oh well. It is done now. Lol

I wanted to suggest These young ladies for the live show, but that did its thing, so I will post it here. They have a severe case of the jammy jams!

Here is my second try at playing reggae. I haven't a clue if I am doing it right, but I tossed in a little charlie brown to make my youngest giggle a little, which worked. So, whether or not it is reggae, I know it made at least one person smile. :)

I am a sucker for genre crossing and this dude doesn't disappoint. I can't figure much of anything out as to what he is doing, but it is a fun watch. Song starts at around seconds and ends around the 4 minute mark

This was a super helpful exercise! When I play I don't necessarily hear all the aberrant noises I am making. It took me a few tries, and they are still in there, but getting better. Today is just one of those days where in total darkness I am pretty and in total silence I sound amazeballs. lol
P.s. I apologize for the really crappy sound quality in all of my videos. I am no longer allowed nice cameras or sound equipment since the last nice camera I had died in a catapult incident. I keep saying that I have matured since then, but I guess there is a significant amount of evidence proving the opposite...

Decided I definitely need to try again after spending more hours doing my homework. I really tried to work on adding dynamics and hitting the chord changes while paying attention rhythmically to the backing track. I'm a work in progress and will probably always be. I can dig that.

I finally have a backing track! Not thinking I am quite ready to move one just yet so I am going to go back and work a bit more and see what happens. This is a really fun course!

I really wanted to nail the blues, so I tried again, and didn't play much better, but had more fun. I'll take that win any day.

Frustration in lack of ability is setting in. lol I am trying to incorporate m7 and dominant 7 chords into this. It'll happen. I tell my kids this and I will tell myself it too. It does not matter if you run, walk, or crawl. As long as you keep moving forward you'll get there eventually. Baby steps and what not. 1st thing to do is figure out backing tracks.

I am bit apprehensive about posting, but decided to try it. I have no backing track and I lack the creativity to make up leads of my own, so I took one from a well known song.
