Michael, if you're reading this, don't react to it! I would much rather you go react to any of the other videos on my page, because I think as students we have much more to gain from you breaking down any of those other songs. This, however, was too great a virtuosic performance not to share here. Cheers everyone!

Totally crazy crazy jamming from these guys! This is from their reunion show, (don't know how long or what reason they took a hiatus) but they are still touring today and it keeps getting better and better. First song I discovered from this band, won't be the last!!

Michael, you've been avoiding this one for some time now. Here is just a rockin, fast paced, nail biter Help Slip Frank. Jerry is on fire, Brent is rippin it up, drummers are givin you the business. Give the people what they want!

Great demonstration of a little knowledge going a long way - descending thirds for the win! Unreal songwriting here and just an amazing performance. Love the way he takes a song and expands it until he has explored everything available under that concept.

This is my favorite song by Kurt, it's an amazing message delivered in such a beautiful and nonchalant way. This song sponsored an extra special extremely sober evening between my housemate and I that led to a lot of bonding... it's a very sentimental piece to me. I hope you all enjoy!

Killer performance of this JM classic! And the banter at the beginning of the video is extra great content too!

Bob Dylan wrote it as a folk tune, Jimi Hendrix turned it into a rock and roll classic, and Dave Matthews turned it into the best rock ballad of all time, and this is one of the best performances of this song you'll ever see or hear.

Hi Michael, I've got some questions about this one. I'm just wrapping up my first year studying music in college, but just started your course last week. I decided to start from the beginning but kind of already have a leg up on the content. So, in this video I am looping DM-CM-Bm. In my understanding, this would be a progression from D Mixo, I-VII-vi. But, as you can see in this video, I use both the D minor and D major pentatonic over the progression and they both sound great. Why? I also tried some stuff from the full mixo, aeolian, and dorian scales (not in this video) and they all also sound pretty decent.

Just a crazy killer performance from this small German band I just found! Slow start, but the song just builds and builds and the lead player uses some awesome fuzz tone.

Absolutely unreal cover of Pretzel Logic by Warren Haynes featuring an unreal drum solo in the middle. Dude's got a killer voice, and it takes some serious kahunas to cover those studio rats called Steely Dan ;)
