I see this song has been requested a few times, and I have to add my vote for it. Would love to understand what makes those three guitars flow so well together from a theory perspective.

Nels Cline is in rare form for the solo here, and when the band brings it all together in the end…chef’s kiss.

You often say just how hard it is working in a trio. This duo do an amazing job of just filling the room with a pounding rhythm that grooves hard. Great song and great lyrics / singing too.

This song is from almost a decade ago now, but the band has been cranking out albums and working hard - even through the pandy. They are on tour right now with some of their best work to date. Hi Michael, I recently discovered this band and I’ve become obsessed with them. They have elements of some of my favourite bands: Dio, Guns n Roses, Nightwish, In Flames, Ghost, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween - to name a few!

Anyway, I hope you check them out. They have 6 studio albums which are all awesome.

Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood (both from Radiohead) have another project called "The Smile", with jazz drummer Tom Skinner. If you like the musicianship of Radiohead then you should check out "The Smile". This video is two songs, but the interlude joining them is simply beautiful.
