This is Erik Walls. His use of chords and melody will warm your heart and make you smile. I love his clean sound and believe that more people need to know who he is, so please if u get the chance.

Joscho Stephan is one of my most favouritest guitar players, his technique is nothing short of gobsmackinly astonishing, and here he's playing with my fellow countryman, Olli Soikkeli from Finland. If I had a tenth of the talent these two gentlemen have in their pinky, I'd be a happy man. I do find Olli's left hand technique intriguing though, having been told that "to play blazingly fast you must keep all your fingers as close to the strings as possible", but he seems to throw his hand back every now and then.
Michael, I don't know how I was in the dark about this group for so long but you have to check them out! If this band doesn't scream classic rock I don't know what does. I would love to hear you break this one down, these guys are awesome. Thanks for all you do brother!
Cheers,
Brandon
First time I heard this song was this video, and itβs amazing! Iβm JUST starting my journey through the Grateful Deadβs catalog, and Iβm loving every step of the way! Youβre videos are the key for me to understanding the songs. John slays the solo in this song, and Jeff and bob are both loving every second of it. You can definitely tell! You should DEFINITELY do a react for this one. If you havenβt already done it. (Hopefully not!lol)
Michael, please, check this out. You will enjoy!
Michael, if you're reading this, don't react to it! I would much rather you go react to any of the other videos on my page, because I think as students we have much more to gain from you breaking down any of those other songs. This, however, was too great a virtuosic performance not to share here. Cheers everyone!
Have yβall seen this kid??? Wow so tasteful. So seamless. Have a listen.
Given your reaction to If We Were Vampires, I think you will love this. Ed Sheeran once again showing he can paint so many different emotions with his words and melodies.
Ty Segall and Emmett Kelly on guitar. Filmed at Occidental College in California. Enjoy!
possibly one of the best things I have heard for a while, might be too jazzy for the channel but the composition along with Mark Letteri's guitar is seamlessly perfect
Michael,
Been going down the dead rabbit hole this past year. Hit a road block, so decided to join GuitarGate and start Pt.1 of the Grateful Dead Course and already excited for Part 2!
Would love for you to react to this version of Bertha. Berta being one of my favorite dead tunes and something was in the air this show. Thanks!
Cris Jacobs is a fantastic Baltimore based singer/songwriter. Toured extensively with the Baltimore band 'The Bridge' before launching a solo career. This video showcases Cris playing a custom cigar box slide guitar.
Michael Hedges was the one that opened my eyes to complex acoustic playing. He left us all too soon. Please take a look if you have not heard of Michael Hedges, your mind will be blown
Technically, my first submission here. I believe we've done this in a live Tuesday, but don't think you've ever done an Avett bros REACT. Musically it's fairly simple, but lyrics are really amazing...right up your alley. The third verse crushes me every time...i can't even get through singing it when I play it. Cheers!
