was taking a break from your lessons and this popped up on my feed, and it sounded so good. I just wanted to see what you thought of it.

A delightful reminder of the seventies... The sheer joy on their unaltered faces
Beautifully sloppy with interesting chord changes....

Another GuitarGate member said it the best.

Joscho plays all of the things we wish we had thought of (and could play).

this technique at the start is amazing, so much emotion is being poured here. gets me goosebumps everytime

Great acoustic session from the great John Mayer. Gotta love John

Love DL, may not be the most technical song but Henrik is so good and the energy of all 3 of them really makes me smile every time I hear them.

The technical skills and fluid control are shocking! It's not my favorite piece of music but it is a guttural masterpiece.

After seeing your reactions to the Radiohead "In the Basement" sessions, I couldn't help but wonder what you'd make of their song Street Spirit. Not only is this probably Thom Yorke (the lead singer's) best vocal performance, but the way the two guitars harmonise and the melodies dance together is absolutely magical. Would love to see you check this one out.

Songwriting at its best! A gripping song anyone can relate to that is well written and performed. Love his energy and that he plays a beat up acoustic nylon.

Hey Michael, here I've got a great performance from one of Bobby's lesser known project in the 80s, The Midnites. This is a great song by Little Feat and I think this is the best take on it. This performance features an amazing solo from Bobby Cochran that is worth a reaction. P.S Brent Mydland was a keyboardist (not in the recording) for this band before he joined the dead!

Love this song and for that matter most of JJ Cale songs, but would love your insights on his lead playing. JJ Cale has such a unique style but I would like to know some of the theory behind it.

Thanks!!

I hadn't heard of Ken until I saw she was opening for the John Moreland show I am going to and all I can say is I understand why Moreland would pick her to open for him

My mind was blown when I realized the guy from Smokey and the Bandit and Coach Red Beaulieu from The Waterboy was an absolute smoke show of a guitar player. What a legend. Can't go wrong with Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins!

A rare gem of energetic bliss from a period where Robert Smith (of the Cure) played with Siouxsie and the Banshies. The entire band is in top form here.

Wow. Just wow. I've watched your videos for years amd love how you break things down. This song just blew me away.

Bob Balch is just an absolute monster on this song, incorporating all kinds of effects and atmosphere in addition to laying down an incredible groove filled with filthy solos. The guitar tone is among my favorite of all time. The bass goes hard too!

Ripe is an amazing band I have had the pleasure of listening to and admiring since starting my guitar journey. It only seemed appropriate I spread the wealth into this amazing community I have been able to watch grow for the same amount of time.

Holy smokes! Right from the first sight of this dude with the cigarette hanging from his lip I new this would be a real one. I think you might dig it too. It's one of those songs that offers a brief peak through a window into somebody's life. It's definitely on my list.

I know you have reacted to videos with Cory Wong before, but I can't resist. Cory, Mark, Joe, and Nate are at the top of their game with this new album. It is astounding! If you end up reacting to this, please go for the third song (Patrouille de France). I promise you will not be disappointed!

Marla Cannon Goodman said this is one of, if not the, saddest songs she's written. Beautiful simplicity pulls you in. I can't find a recording of it anywhere but she said that Alison Krauss is supposed to cut it.

This guy knows his way around the neck. How many techniques can you spot?

Obviously you know Ren and you know he is awesome, but this is I think his best guitar work and storytelling. It is three songs telling a continuous story
