Having watched several of your YouTube video reactions, I'm just gonna say that you are rare breed. And in a very good way, so much so. I went all in and signed up !! Your passion for good music, and explaining why it's good is something I have been looking for, and didn't realize it. You could cover a lot of styles and genre's and it's just cool shit !! So, I share with you, and the group Brown Bird, a duo that, to me, is amazing. Maybe not so technical, or shredding, but their passion us unmistakable. This guys voice, and lyrics are almost haunting. A rare talent in the world of overproduction and autotune. I hope you like it !! Cheers and thanks !!

This would be a great one to see his reaction too. What a great show. I have this on DVD all the band members from different band jams separate into mini bands and perform each others music. Here we have the AB standard for example. Good stuff if you didn't know about it. It is killer. Please Enjoy!

Youtube request for Lonely Stranger, one of my favorite tracks from this Unplugged session.

Incredible gospel sounding licks. Want to nail the signature lick in the intro and some of the cool improv concepts throughout.

I love everything about this

Hey Michael.

Thanks for what you're doing! I have here a fellow youtube guitarist named Sean Angus Watson. He's very talented and plays some beautiful guitar. Here's a video of him playing some an original song called Running. I would love to hear your thoughts about him and his playing. He's stuff is definitely worth checking out in general

This is the best guitar solo ever (imho) and i never heard warren play it twice, i would really like you to do a REACT youtube on this.
Thank you for what you are doing, you are making these hard times a lot easier.

This is Joey from his first visit to That Pedal Show. This is his breakup song he wrote when he quit drinking. This was my intro to Joey and the Bros. Landreth. Iโ€™ve managed to see him 3 times and the Bros once since then.
He is so dynamic in this video. Beautiful writing, beautiful singing, great person, and he first shy away from the thick fuzzy solo even though there is no accompaniment! Should be required listening for all!

Hey Michael, long time fan but first Reacts Request. Thanks for helping keep us all entertained through this pandemic. I think you'll dig this because A.) Cat's vocals are incredible B.) I know you are a man who enjoys his well crafted lyrics that put you in a different place and time and C.) Graham Young on lead with the tele can hold it down man. Thanks and enjoy!

Hi Michael,
Although this video isn't the best quality for a public reaction I would like to ask if you could give it a look and listen to the guitar technique in this song and hopefully get some feedback from you please. I admit that the technique might be simple and nothing really complicated, but I'm really interested on the composition and feeling of that guitar solo. I really hope to achieve this way of playing from your program one day and hopefully, after this, focus your guitar course in a more specific direction.
Unfortunately there isn't an HD video of this french band or song so this is the best I was able to find.
Studio version is better in my opinion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ipk7iXn5t98
Thank you for your time

P.S. - solo is close to 2:35

Michael,
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD please do a reaction to this video. As good as Josh Smith is, Marcus King just shows that playing guitar is like Jiu Jitsu-- there's levels to this sh*t. King pushing his voice into Janis Joplin territory, and his slide-like phrasing are just unreal. You have got to do this one! And thank you for making me a better player, I just signed up for a year!

Michael,

I have been a huge fan for a long time, I enjoy all of your videos and you make a bigger difference in my life than you know. I am a huge Mayer fan as I know you are, but this one is in a league of its own. I only stumbled across this video today and knew you absolutely had to see it. Cheers mate,
Brandon

Just messing around with some of the pentatonic shapes in C major. I recorded this to a looped track I made with a keyboard.

Mike Cooley is a great songwriter!
Chorus:
"Last night I slept with my boots on again,
One cut on my forehead and one my chin,
On the hard oak floor with nothin to cover up with.
You got me real good, girl, and I must admit,
you pack purty mean punch for such a purty little fist
And it's a shame to know most folks don't ever know love like this."

I enjoy your channel so much because not only do you break down the instrumental aspect of the music, you keenly focus on the story and the lyrics. I know you appreciate a good story therefore I felt this would be perfect to review. To me some of the lyrics are a 10/10.

Beautiful Lyrics about women being a savior/distraction from his hell and the eventual loss of that love and reverting back to old ways. Great chorus!

A bunch of great guitar players jamming to the melody of my favorite tv show themes, what's not to like?

Fingerstyle arrangement of Ill Fly Away. Basic progression with a simple melody. Hopefully this gives an example of some of the neat things you can do with a basic I, IV, V progression. Michael I look forward to seeing what you have in the next levels.

0

Simple I, IV, V pattern. Simple melody over the top. I hope this gives an example of some of the simple things one can do with I IV V patterns.

Introduction, John Syracuse, new to Guitar Gate.

It just seems so effortless. I can't imagine how many hours it takes to get to the place that both of these players are in.
