Hi Michael! I'm sure you've at least heard of Matt Schofield as he can be found online playing in the same circles as Tomo Fujita, Josh Smith, and others. This is a blues tune that is so much more than a I IV V and has one of the tastiest blues solos of all time. Yes, I mean all time. You will not be disappointed!

Thank you for all the work you've put in to keep this community thriving! I have to say, apart from the actual courses, the #1 thing you've taught me is the importance of ACTIVE LISTENING! I've gotten the hang of the chords, scales, triads, intervals, etc., but hearing and identifying them in the music and knowing when and how to use them while playing is the most valuable skill I've developed thus far! For the first time in my life I feel like a MUSICIAN and not just a guitar player! Thank you again!

Richie has a great story behind this song, and how it helped him get the Poison job. The audition was not going well until they asked him if he had any originals, and he played this for them...the rest is history. That said, Poison is just a footnote in Richie's vast catalog, but I love this solo re-do of one of his older songs.

React request - this is a โ€œRe-Creationโ€ video as part of the Fender Acoustasonic Jazzmaster series... love this song and itโ€™s a nice version. Would be great to see the breakdown. Cheers, Stu

Hey Michael,

Big fans of your react videos. Given your current focus on what makes a band sound great together I believe you will LOVE that one! Same keys as a recent react you did, bassist too, I believe.

PUSH. already requested by Jean-Louis Sterckx.

You donยดt have to like flamenco to see that these guys are nailing it. Would love to see you do a video, even if flamenco might be out of your comfort zone. Plot twist - there is no comfort zone. You live and learn. Maybe this track lets you feel like a beginner - like we do every time you post a video :).
