I’ll go ahead and say it, The Black Crowes are my favorite band of all time. This video from their Cabin Fever DVD recorded in Levon Helm’s barn of their cover of The Velvet Underground’s “Oh Sweet Nuthin’” shows that faces can still be melted only using a three chord progression. Not only do Luther Dickinson and Rich Robinson’s vocal-like solos take the song to a new level, but the entire band feeds off one another to create tension leading to explosions of awesomeness.

I just discovered her today. There are so many songs to choose from, even a whole concert available with her band. There are some older videos of her using pre-recorded parts where she's on stage alone, using pedals to start and stop all the other instruments, ALL OF WHICH SHE PLAYED HERSELF! OMG! Michael, I know I've made suggestions before, and they're great and all, but DAMN MAN!! EDIT - I found a better, higher-energy version with a live audience.

REACTED TO

I am surprised to see no one has a posted a react request for Plunger since your incredible livestream with Jake.

Now you just need to get Bayliss on!

This is a high quality audience video synced to the soundboard audio. It really gives a great impression of a UM show is like from the pit.

The song proper clocks in around 7 minutes and 45 seconds with another 6 minutes of improvisation to follow.

You might also check out Plunger->Glory->Plunger from Bonnaroo in 2008, but the video and audio are not as good.

Discovered these "surfy" reverb drenched guys as an opening act and its been a love affair ever since. All good here, but I point you to a song at the 25:26 mark. Enjoy!
