Hey - i've never submitted a reacts request despite watching and being a member forever, but I've been a long time fan of Cody Simpson. He's one of the people who inspired me to pick up a guitar after hearing his album Free which he wrote aged 18, but for some reason, is never recognised for his guitar playing. He used to be a pop star, which I guess means his guitar abilities are overlooked, but since starting his own label has flourished into a really cool blues musician, with sorta Mayer/Jack Johnson vibes - I really like his voice and environmental messages too! Would mean a lot if you checked this out - massive fan of you and your work :)
Followed this guy for years... JUST WOW!!!
I think most people think of Bob Dylan as the folk songwriter of the 60s - he certainly was that. However, this footage from the Rolling Thunder Review in 1975 shows him in a whole new light. Here, he has a stronger stage presence and the move from acoustic to electric only drives it further. He and Springsteen may just be the reasons I own a Tele. If you haven't seen this, you have to check it out. Do it for Bob as he turns 80!
I recently discovered the O'keefe Music Foundation here in south west Ohio. This non-profit provides free music lessons, camps, studio sessions and music videos to kids from all over the country regardless of their economic circumstances. I watched this video and was blown away by the talent of these kids!! this is not like your typical video you react to because not one kid really stands out above anyone else (the drummer is amazing). This foundation is helping kids achieve a musical dream they may not of otherwise been able to do and I think that ROCKS!!
p.s. I have NO affiliation with the O'Keefe Music Foundation
