I only recently watched the deep dive you did with Prince and others doing While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Great stuff. Coincidentally…or not this Live Prince performance just came on my feed a couple days earlier and it blew me away. For such a small effeminate man, well there’s only one way to put it …HE IS THE FUCKING MAN of all men. Such a showman and with a talent and style like no other.
If you’ve seen this video before you know what I’m talking about, but if you haven’t then I know I just made your day. You’re welcome. J/K. It said live at the Hollywood and it cut off. It appears to be a halftime show maybe. Not sure.
To tell you the truth I don’t even play guitar. I just wanted you to see this video. If you choose it to do a react that’ll be awesome, no doubt. But on the small chance this is new to you. Totally worth the membership price to introduce you to it.
I’ve got one or two others. I haven’t seen any reacts to, St Vincent (Annie Clark) a recent favorite, but I saw the one per week rule and I’ve got a few more weeks on my membership so I’ll try to find a few high caliber performances that will be contenders for sure.
I’m sorry I go on and on but I’m a big fan and wanted to just quickly say it was the Ween reacts that introduced me to you. They are in my top 3 all time for sure and they’re playing 3 nights ending on Halloween in Denver this month and I can’t wait. Last thing I swear. Favorite react vid TOOL - Sober. I had never seen it before. I went on a week long TOOL bender afterwards. Ok. My next requests will be just a brief description without all the rambling irrelevant babble. Thanks and keep up the good work.

I'd like to share a song by a member of our Community, Craig Smith. I love how he captures both the child's viewpoint in the moment, and the adult's looking back.

I would love to see you doing a reaction video to this song by Väsen - here performed together with the maestros from Snarky Puppy. Väsen is a "folk music" band from Sweden, so the basis of their music is Swedish traditional folk music, but they mix it up with influences from all over the globe. In this song you will also find middle eastern vibes and of course the jazzy touch by Snarky Puppy... All in all, mindblowing musicianship and composition which reminds me of my childhood growing up in a small music loving town in Sweden. I just love the Nyckelharpa (key harp in english?).

Thanks a lot for a great YouTube channel and I'm looking forward to explore the content here at Guitargate and improving my guitar playing (I just signed up!) :)

Classic song, that still holds up. I love the way the rhythm section grooves during the solo, and holds it down. Listening to this song is like traveling back in time when you hear how it was recorded. All analog. No static at all.
