I found about about this lady around the same time I discovered this channel at the beginning of covid. She is just exceptionally talented, and is also an amazing storyteller. The album she released doesnβt do her justice compared to her stripped down acoustic performances.

I know there'd been a lot of well-deserved hype in the bluegrass and jam-band worlds with Billy Strings lately, so I wanted to pass this along as well. The Dusters, are tied with Billy for my favorite bands in the jamgrass scene. My main instrument is the dobro, and Andy Hall is a master up there with Jerry Douglas, Rob Ickes, Mike Auldridge, Phil Ledbetter, Josh Swift, etc.
I wrote this song years ago as a way to cope with the loss of my son. There is also an acoustic video online I did for the channel live in your living room. Iβm not a strong singer or a professional musician in any shape or form, but I decided to record this song for my project Cherokee Hill. Despite my short comings this song has always drawn a crowds attention when Iβm on stage. Would love to hear what you have to say about it. The drummer on the track was my sons god father as well. It was a special project for us both. Hope you enjoy.
Thank you,

Hey, Michael!
My wife and I have recently gotten into Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and Iβd love to eventually be able to play a little bit for her. This is one of her favorites and there is a fantastic lead line I love as well. Iβd be grateful if you could break it down for me.
Thanks for all you do!
Adam
