In the words of Monty Phyton: "And now, something completely different".
The bands musical style is something like ska-punk-russian-turbo-polka-metal...
This is a band I came across about 2 years ago. It started as a bit of a joke when our band was thinking of a different way to play Get Lucky by Daft punk. One member posted a link of Russkaja's version of it and after that I pretty much binged through their whole discography (Yeah, it was brilliant).
Their music was so different and awesome that I couldn't help myself. I listened to it so much everywhere at home, in the car, everywhere, that it had a big influence on my sons and the band is now my firstborn's favourite band π
The band is Austrian and the lead singer moved to Austria from the soviet union at about the time it collapsed in late 80's.

Michael, you simply must see this and provide your insights even if you do not do the whole video. This is a live medley containing "People Get Ready", "Hear My Train A Comin" and "Are You Experienced". Thank you!
Hi Michael,
Last week Kikagaku Moyo announced that they will be going on indefinite hiatus after their 2022 tour. If you are not familiar, they are an incredibly talented Japanese psych rock band that puts on an unbelievable live show. I was lucky enough to catch them at a tiny venue in Chicago late last year and will be catching at least one show of their final tour. I implore you to check out their music and grab a ticket to one of their final shows. The song Iβd like you to react to is called Gatherings and starts at 41:15
Just enjoy..
David Hildago, from Los Lobos. Along with a dream backing band: Booker T and the MG's. Duck Dunn and Steve Cropper, and Booker lay down such a relaxed groove. David is a great player and his rhythm playing is so minimal yet effective. GREAT drummer. The smiles at the end when they knew they nailed it is priceless.
