The Title should read Roy Clark stringed instrument wizard. But to hear a hillbilly playing spanish guitar is Amazing. Watch his picking hand, the rhythm is insane.

TAZ must be one of the most promising young guitarists out there, i have never seen anyone that age with so much originality and maturity in his playing! It's crazy when you know, that he was only 14 years old at the time this video was recorded.
If you haven't seen Brandon "TAZ" Niederauer play, this video is so crazy, you will not regret it.

For years I’ve imagined combining the guitar parts of Carlos Alomar and Robert Fripp into a single, more prominent, line. This is an attempt to convey what’s been in my head… with some extra bits thrown in.

Surprisingly no guitar, but you wouldn't know that just by listening. Possibly the SICKEST distorted keys I have ever heard! Keys, bass, and drums with keyboard player on vocals too. No guitar, but the energy of this group during this studio recording is so fun to watch! Sounds very Jack White-ish (same producer as a lot of Jack White's projects).

Dinosaur Jr. is self described "ear bleeding country". This band influenced all the 90s grudge acts, out lived them, and to some outshined them.

J Mascis is one of the few guitar players who made solos cool again, in an indie rock scene of the late 80s, early 90s, where guitar solos were seen... as lame... eww.. thank God for J.

Rolling Stones #86 greatest player of all time, SPIN magazines #5 (but J says the list doesn't count because Hendrix isn't #1)

Forget the Swan is off their first record - where the country influence can be felt more prominently
