A Blues Guitar/Rock jam from the original Woodstock, that many younger players may not have heard, by one of the 1960's guitar masters, Alvin Lee, w/ Ten Years After. Guitar lead/blues players, you WILL be impressed!

Michael,
Lifetime subscriber here - love the channel and really respect what you do and (especially) how you do it!
I just watched your Talking Heads “React” video - which was great. TH were amazing and David Byrne a genius (imho)(we saw him on Broadway and it was such a fantastic immersive experience…but I digress…)
During your video I heard you mention that The Last Waltz is one of your favorite concert videos. I wholeheartedly agree, and would like to request that you do a react video of Eric Clapton and Further On Up the Road from The Last Waltz. The performance is not perfect (Clapton’s guitar strap actually fell off during one of solos and Robbie Robertson jumped in to pick it up - pure musicianship -real professionals mixing it up live). I love this performance because it is one of the more driving versions that I’ve seen Clapton perform (as a Clapton fan I’ve sometimes noticed that the quality of his performances is often directly related to the quality of the musicians he’s performing with - especially other guitarists - think the Layla album and Duane Allman). As a big fan of The Band, I don’t think Eric could have a more professional band backing him for this performance. Also, you can see everyone reacting off of each other and having such a damned good time! (Did you know that after EC heard Music From Big Pink he traveled to Woodstock to ask if he could join The Band? True fact…).
Every time I watch The Last Waltz and see The Band back up all of those amazing guest artists - me easy feat - I’m reminded of just how truly talented and diverse they all were.
Anyway - I love the your channel and lessons. Your enthusiasm is infectious. It’s nice to see someone who can be as talented as you who is not too stuck up to reveal his inner “fan-boy”.
Thanks for reading and considering this request.

I feel that as musicians we look for those songs that have that ONE “moment”. Where the whole band comes in perfectly on 1, or that chord is hit, or that one note of that specific guitar solo. This song has the best of these “moments. It’s right at the two minute mark. I know there isn’t any guitar, just two musicians at peak skill making music together. Hope you enjoy!
