I am sure you've heard of the band and this song but this version sounds pretty good with just two guitars.
Funnily enough, I've never really been interested in alcohol, but I always come back to this song again and again. I love Kris' voice and I think the melody and lyrics are perfect. I really like how the fingerpicking is on point without any need for flashiness.
There's also a full band version out there with electric guitar and spooky violin that's worth a listen, but this acoustic take says it best.

Amazing version of this song. Vic and his backing band are incredible. So much tension in the way this song is arranged and performed with the full band. A total heartbreaker. This is 1 of 3 songs performed at this house show. All 3 are crazy. If you haven't seen this before please check it out. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you don't.
