One of this band's best. Highly recommend watching the documentary Dig! that profiles the BJM and Dandy Warhols. Anton Newcombe is an incredibly prolific and talented songwriter that has sort of flow under the radar throughout his career.

Haven't seen you dig into noise and feedback with actual musicality. Sonic Youth were arguably the best at this. This song feels so intentional in its music and yet so on the edge. This is the band at their tightest imho.

Would love the m-palm take on this classic performance! Itโs just his vocals over a drum track โ but from a phrasing POV thereโs so much great stuff happening. It also sounds like heโs abandoning this songโs typical 3/4 time signature - would love to hear your take on what doors this opens when it comes to creative phrasing. This is the good stuff right here.. Raphael Saadiq is a legend of R&B and soul, but the real star here is Rob Bacon accompanying on guitar. This is a masterclass on playing in the pocket. So much in this that every guitarist could learn from. Enjoy!
