So, I posted this in the Songwriter group, but figured I'd see if any of you would like to join in.
How would all of you fantastic musicians feel about a songwriting challenge?
I have an idea for a song. I was listening to a podcast this morning with Clint Black interviewing Luke Combs. Luke was asked a question about the music that got him into playing. He listed some well known tracks and then followed it up by saying "the only thing wrong with those songs, they don't have my name on them."
If you are interested in the challenge... write lyrics to represent Luke's statement. It doesn't need to be word for word, just the meaning behind it.
Post as a reply in the "Challenges" group. We'll count the vote tally by "Hearts" for each reply... and then we (whoever would like to participate) will make the song come to life.

Once in a while, I'll get the urge to upload a vocal. I hope this one is enjoyable!
So how is everyone? Welcome to the Teleport community. I think it would be a pretty good idea if we just use this post here to introduce ourselves. Where are you from, how long have you been playing, married, kids, etc..
Obviously, My name is Kelly. I live in beautiful Boise, Idaho with mountains on one side and desert on the other. I'm married and have been for 12 years. No human children, but our pitbull Serenity does exactly as her name implies.
I'm an avid motorcyclist and I ride a 2005 custom Harley that I built and painted myself. I have more hobbies than I can list, but music has always been a passion. I got started in learning music when I was around 14... mainly for the girls.
Played in a few bands, actually headlined for Godsmack... but that was back when Sully would play a plastic recorder during one of his songs. I can't say much... we had a guy in our band that would hit a tire rim with a sledgehammer at certain times during the set.
I'm now 54... and really enjoying what Michael and his team have created for us. What a great time to be alive!
@Kelly_Moderator Want to use your vocal pedal to add the lyrics on this one? Lyrics are mostly spoken, but there are some funky effects on most of them.
