For me one of the reasons I am here is for the community aspect. I know for a lot of people their favorite memories revolve around โPorch Pickinโ hanging around with friends and jamming together. Part of that experience is shooting the breeze about anything and everything. Getting to know each other on different levels. So this is just a place to hang out and BS! Obviously there is jamming involved so songs can be shared too!
Another Floridan here, from Sarasota. Picked up guitar for a next gen church, fell in love with it. In jazz varsity as a underclass man, my instructor put me in a spot where I had to progress insanely fast or tap out, and I pulled through. Now I have a love for the entire music industry, for every person in it and every instrument.

Universal Audio has come out with Paradise studio. Itโs basically a subscription to the UA studio plugins.. I thought it might be worth a look as a real useful set of tools in this environment. From what I heard of the quality of tones available were a definite step up in modeling! James Santiago played a massive part in all of it and he is widely regarded as one of if not the best at creating modeling that is as close to the real thing as humanly possible with the resources available today!

Hey my name is Steve and I am 61 in Florida. My musical life has been primarily solo singer songwriter stuff acoustically. But the last couple years Iโve focused on electric (mostly lead).
