Al Di Meola, Steve Lukather and John Scofield with a stellar cover of Miles Davis' "All Blues!" This is a great song that a lot of artists cover, making a standout version very rare. This is one of them. Another great version is by Stanley Clarke, Larry Carlton and Billy Cobham on the "Live At The Greek" album. Enjoy!

Grateful Dead in Anaheim, CA in 1987 playing their classic "West L.A. Fadeaway." Great song. Jerry's sounding good! Mellow power that made the Dead special.

David Hildago and a part of Los Lobos playing an intimate version of a great song (and great album)..."Tin Can Trust." Great Tele tone. Bass line is tasty. Highly recommend this album...the whole thing is great.

I just love Los Lobos. Here they are in 2014 on Austin City Limits playing "Mas Y Mas." Juicy drum & percussion break. A well done guitar solo in the middle. David Hildago's guitar tone is spot on as he leads the band into a chaotic outro/end of the tune. Can we say meatsauce?

Xander and the Peace Pirates covering "Get Out My Life Woman." I love the Jerry Garcia version the most, but this has a great feel to it...a bit more bluesy. Side note, I didn't even notice the singer was missing his picking hand until the sweet solo he played.

Koch Marshall Trio playing Muddy Waters' "Can't Lose What You Never Had." Toby is sick on organ. Dylan deep in the pocket. And of course, Greg is killing it!

Tedeschi Trucks Band playing their new tune "Future Soul." Vocals are powerful and sound great! Band is tight. Love the fuzz on the lead solo...sounds like an MXR Octavio with the added octave up. I want to do a deep dive on this album.

High Fade live in 2024 playing "Life's Too Fast." My friend Maestro turned me on to these guys and they slay! Don't sleep on these guys. They are also great in the studio so check out their albums.

Stanley Clarke and Stewart Copeland (Too Cool Hats) just killing it here. Brady Cohen gives a McLaughlin-esque solo that is perfect for the feel. Stanley has taken a Police bass line, turned it on its head and made it something original. Stellar!
