Hey Michael - I know you like reggae, so here is a Brazilian reggae artist singing part of the song in Portuguese and part in English, joined by a few old Jamaicans in the recording studio. Beautiful voice from both singers and very good reggae vibes. I love the vampire laughing noises from Congo, the Jamaican. The song is about the system keeping the poor communities down; very similar theme to Bob Marley's "Babylon System", but original lyrics and music from this artist.

Michael - This probably doesn't warrant a reaction video, both because it's too long and it's not a musical performance, but just wanted to share this with you because I think you would enjoy it. Warren Haynes does a great job of describing all of ways you can play with a guitar's sound (tones, equipment, volume setting, etc.), and how band members can feed off of each other out, particularly during improvisations. I really enjoyed the way he articulated all of those thoughts. Maybe me think more about the specific sounds my guitar is making and maybe try to clean it up a little.

Hey Michael-

I've been listening to this Josh Daniel guy for about a year now. He live streams a lot of his small gigs to his YT and FB followers, and also plays solo from his house pretty often. His specialty is typically looping his rhythm and then jamming over that with pedal effects (essentially turning his acoustic into an electric guitar-like sound), and I just really enjoy his style. Really good covers and originals, great vocals, etc.

However, this particular video is actually how I initially discovered Josh. There is no looping or pedals in this one; just an acoustic guitar on a porch playing/singing the whole Terrapin Station. As you know, Terrapin is really like three distinct songs in one, and I wouldn't normally think one guitar would be capable of nailing it like this. He doesn't play the traditional Jerry or Bob solos in this because there would be no rhythm guitar to solo over, but he still manages some kind of like chord-tonal mix of solo and chord strumming together.

Anyhow, would love to see your reaction and also break down some of his sections so I could try to learn it. I can only play the Lady with a Fan part so far (not the solo part, though).

Thanks!
Brian
