Hey Michael,
Wanted to start by saying thanks for the channel and lessons. I'm currently running through the Jam Band Primer, and it transforming the way I view the fretboard. Total game changer.
One part of that course that has stuck with me is when you mention to think like a singer as you compose solos and melodies. And the first recent album that came to mind is the Krasno/Moore Project - Book of Queens (Eric Krasno and Stanton Moore). The album covers songs from prominent female artists, and Kraz gives a masterclass on playing vocal-style melodies.
One of my favorite songs from this album is a cover of Kacey Musgrave's "Slow Burn". Check out the original, and then hear how Kraz beautifully interprets her vocal lines on guitar. It's full of tasty triads/diads connected by pentatonic licks, just like you teach in the Jam Band course.
Thanks again for all you do!
